If you manage projects using Excel, you know the pain of manually drawing timeline bars and keeping them updated. Strategy Gantt removes that friction entirely — paste your spreadsheet data and get a publication-ready Gantt chart in seconds.

What You Need

Any spreadsheet with project data containing dates. Strategy Gantt supports two formats:

  • Multiple activities per row — each row is a project, and columns represent different phases or milestones with their start/end dates.
  • Single activity per row — each row is one activity with a phase name, start date, and end date.

Step-by-Step

  1. Open the app and create a new schedule.
  2. Paste your Excel data directly into the spreadsheet grid, or upload a file.
  3. Map your columns — Strategy Gantt will auto-detect date columns and suggest mappings.
  4. Hit "Generate" and your Gantt chart appears instantly.

Customization

Once your chart is generated, you can customize colors for each phase, adjust the time scale, group projects by metadata fields, and toggle milestones on or off. Every change updates the chart in real time.

Export & Share

When you're happy with your chart, export it as a PNG image, an SVG vector, or a ready-to-present PowerPoint slide. Every format preserves your styling — pick the one that fits how you're sharing.
